Os micro encontros com pessoas e situações, nas ruas ou em qualquer lugar, são o acervo do meu museu particular e imaginário. Desencontrar-me no caos, nas inquietações das ruas e encontrar nos outros parte do que me compõe enquanto artista, enquanto fotógrafo. Tal prática é herdada de outro local que eu ocupo: o fotojornalismo. Minha pesquisa busca navegar pelos meus arquivos dos mais de dez anos de fotojornalismo e encontrar os espaços onde eu enxergo um transbordar e assim construir uma visão documental autobiográfica poética: vestígios daquele que fui e daquele que sou.
Mestrando em Artes Visuais (PPGAV) na linha de Poéticas Contemporâneas na Udesc, eu também sou formado em Jornalismo.
Trabalhei por mais de dez anos nos principais veículos de imprensa de Santa Catarina onde posso destacar a cobertura da Copa do Mundo na Rússia em 2018 e a cobertura da queda do Avião da Chapecoense em Medellín, Colômbia, em 2016
Em 2019 fiz primeira exposição individual na Fundação Cultural Badesc com curadoria de Lucila Horn, através de financiamento coletivo. Atualmente, minha pesquisa busca entender em seu próprio acervo jornalístico as nuances, poéticas e potências da ressignificação e subversão do dispositivo, na construção do eu-artista.

Micro encounters with people and situations, on the streets or anywhere else, make up the collection of my private and imaginary museum. Getting lost in the chaos and unrest of the streets and finding in others a part of what makes me an artist, a photographer. This practice is inherited from another place I occupy: photojournalism. My research seeks to navigate my archives from over ten years of photojournalism and find the spaces where I see an overflow and thus construct an autobiographical poetic documentary vision: traces of who I was and who I am. Diorgenes Pandini, a Journalism graduate, is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Visual Arts (PPGAV) in the line of Contemporary Poetics at Udesc. He worked for over ten years in the main media outlets in Santa Catarina, where he stood out for his coverage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the coverage of the Chapecoense plane crash in Medellín, Colombia, in 2016. In 2019, he had his first solo exhibition at the Badesc Cultural Foundation, curated by Lucila Horn. Currently, his research aims to understand, within his own journalistic archive, the nuances, poetics, and potential of the redefinition and subversion of the device in the construction of the artist-self.
